Updated BYD Atto 3 with God’s Eye C reached dealers in China
The updated BYD Atto 3 electric crossover with the God’s Eye C driving assistance system reached dealers in China. It has a refreshed exterior and interior. The vehicle will soon enter the local market under the Yuan Plus name. Later, the updated Atto 3 can hit global markets.
The governmental regulator revealed the refreshed BYD Atto 3 in January 2025 as the automaker applied for its sales license. On February 21, BYD shared official images of the Atto 3 for the domestic market. Nowadays, the first batches of updated crossovers have reached dealers across China.
Updated BYD Atto 3 at dealers
The updated BYD Atto 3 reached dealers in China as the automaker readies for the sales start. The refreshed model adopts a new front end with a larger trapeze-shaped air intake. The car adopts a new body color and partly blackened D-pillars. From the back, the Atto 3 has a new roof spoiler with dual brake lights. The taillight unit integrates the Chinese knot pattern with dynamic turn signals.
The main feature of the updated BYD Atto 3 crossover is the Gods’ Eye C intelligent driving system. It is also known as the DiPilot 100 system. Its main feature is a tri-camera block under the windshield. Other sensors include four surround-view cameras, five long-range cameras, five mm-wave radars, and twelve ultrasonic radars. The refreshed Atto 3 has a total of 29 sensors, which is good for the high-speed Navigation On Autopilot (NOA) function. It supports ten scenarios.
Another highlight of the Atto 3 is its interior. It adopts a new D-shaped steering wheel with a gear shifter behind it. The center tunnel has a wireless charging pad, two cup holders, and a block of physical buttons. The Atto 3 has a floating rotatable screen and a small LCD instrument cluster.
BYD Atto 3 specs
The BYD Atto 3 is a compact electric SUV with dimensions of 4455/1875/1615 mm and a wheelbase of 2720 mm. It has a single electric motor in the front axle for 150 kW (201 hp). There are two LFP battery options available for the Atto 3: 49.9 kWh and 60.5 kWh. They provide 430 km and 510 km range under CLTC conditions, respectively.
The current version of BYD Atto 3 price range is 116,800 – 144,800 yuan (15,225 – 20,120 USD) in China. The refreshed model will soon enter the Chinese market.
