The 2025 Xpeng G6 has officially been unveiled, bringing a host of upgrades despite being categorized as a facelift. The new model features 81 improvements and replaces 34% of its tier-one components, including integrating the advanced AI Turing intelligent driving system. Deliveries are set to begin in early March, with display models already arriving at dealerships.

The 2025 G6 showcases a redesigned front fascia, highlighted by a new full-width “galaxy light wing” LED light strip, replacing the previous segmented design. The Xpeng logo has been relocated to the hood, and a distinctive blue light indicator for the intelligent driving system has been added. The lower grille now features a blackened trapezoidal shape, while the side profile includes black-finished, petal-style alloy wheels, enhancing the vehicle’s sleek, coupe-like appearance. At the rear, a revised bumper and a new ducktail spoiler add a sporty touch. The G6 measures 4,758 mm in length, 1,920 mm in width, and 1,650 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,890 mm.

Inside, the 2025 G6 introduces a new interior colour, upgraded materials, and a refreshed layout. The centrepiece is a 15.6-inch floating infotainment screen paired with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. The steering wheel now features a capacitive design, and the cabin has a “galaxy rhythm” ambient lighting system. Comfort enhancements include front seats with ventilation, heating, and massage functions, with Xpeng claiming the massage feature offers the most potent shiatsu-level experience in its class. The centre console includes a wireless charging pad and additional storage, while air vents have been redesigned for a cleaner look.

The vehicle also features an ultra-fine suede headliner, with instrument panel and door gaps reduced to 5±2mm for a more refined finish. Over 50% of the door panels are covered in leather, and the wireless charging area has been upgraded with soft-touch materials. Additional upgrades include wood grain trim on the dashboard and a new ambient lighting array, enhancing the cabin’s premium feel.

Under the hood, the G6 retains its single-motor configuration, powered by an 800V platform. The electric motor, produced at Xpeng’s Wuhan facility, delivers a maximum output of 218 kW. The vehicle has a 5C ultra-fast charging AI battery, promising improved range and faster charging times. While specific range figures have not been disclosed, Xpeng highlights significant efficiency improvements. Xpeng claims the AI Turing intelligent driving system is a key feature offering advanced autonomous driving capabilities for a more intuitive driving experience.
