This is Chery’s Jetour Shanhai T2 AWD version – the plug-in hybrid version of the Jetour Traveller, which is set to officially launch on October 21, offering a 208 km pure electric range and a 1,400 km comprehensive range. Previously, the Shanhai T2 two-wheel drive version was launched earlier in April. The price tag is expected to be 224,900 yuan (31,700 USD), according to dealers.

In September, the Jetour Shanhai T2 sold 6,993 units.
Overall, the appearance remains unchanged compared to that of the two-wheel drive version, maintaining a square shape. The Jetour logo in the front can be lit up. At the same time, the iconic external rear spare tire along with the longitudinal taillights are not absent. An electric tailgate is also expected to be present. The C-DM logo on the lower right indicates its status as a plug-in hybrid vehicle.

The AWD version is expected to have the same dimensions as that of the two-wheel drive version, which measures 4785/2006/1875 mm with a 2800 mm wheelbase. The towing capacity is 1,600 kg.
The plug-in hybrid system consists of a 1.5TGDI engine and three electric motors, mated to a 3-speed DHT, outputting a comprehensive maximum power of 455 kW (610 hp) and a peak torque of 920 Nm. For comparison, the Jetour Shanhai T2 two-wheel drive version has a system power of 280 kW (375 hp) and a peak torque of 610 Nm; and offers two CLTC pure electric ranges of 129 km and 208 km. The battery specifications have not been revealed at this time.
Additionally, as an off-road SUV, the Jetour Shanhai T2 AWD comes with a rear differential lock and supports creep mode, tank turn, hill start assist, hill descent control, and 7+X intelligent driving modes: economy, standard, sports, snow, mud, sand, rock, and X. Chery claimed the X mode can intelligently identify road conditions and automatically switch to the most optimal driving mode.

The interior follows the design as that of the two-wheel drive version, featuring a 10.25-inch LCD instrument panel, a 15.6-inch floating central control screen powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, a four-spoke multi-function steering wheel, rectangular air-conditioning outlets, and imitation leather seats.
