On February 18, Chery’s Exeed Exlantix ES EREV sedan started pre-sale, available in four trims:

Plus RWD: 162,800 yuan (22,400 USD)
Pro RWD: 179,800 yuan (24,700 USD)
Max RWD: 199,800 yuan (27,500 USD)
Ultra AWD Flagship: 219,800 yuan (30,200 USD)

The official launch will be in March.

Consumers can choose from six exterior paints, including the newly added Aurora Purple color.

The EREV has dimensions of 4945/1978/1480 mm and a wheelbase of 3000 mm. Continuing the “aesthetics of wind” design concept of the EV variant, the EREV has a drag coefficient of 0.23Cd.

The roof lidar above the front windshield is eye-catching. There are 29 other sensors including five millimeter-wave radars, 12 ultrasonic radars, and high-definition cameras along with dual NVIDIA DRIVE Orin chips to realize intelligent driving capabilities such as high-speed navigation, city navigation, and autonomous parking.

Powered by Chery’s self-developed “Golden range-extender system”, the thermal efficiency of the 115 kW (154 hp) 1.5T engine is as high as 44.5% and the WLTC fuel consumption is 4.9L/100km, according to the official. The RWD has a maximum motor power of 195 kW (261 hp) while the AWD has a comprehensive motor power of 345 kW (463 hp), with a battery pack capacity of 34.7 kWh and 41.16 kWh, respectively. The CLTC pure electric range is 255 km for both versions, but the comprehensive range is 1,645 km and 1,570 km under a full tank and full charge, respectively. The AWD is also equipped with an intelligent torque distribution system and has a 0 – 100 km/h acceleration time of 4.6 seconds.

Furthermore, under the car’s 2.4C fast-charging technology with a maximum charging power of 110 kW, it takes 17.5 minutes to replenish from 20% to 80%.

Inside, the fiery red background is luxurious. There is an 8.2-inch embedded instrument panel, a HUD, and a 15.6-inch 2.5K central control screen with a built-in Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chip. The central control screen is equipped with a voice assistant called MateGPT that supports intelligent voice interaction. Other configurations include mobile phone remote control, OTA updates, split-screen operation, and screen projection for mobile phones.
