Europe-bound Zeekr 007 GT estate has up to 825 km range in China
The Chinese regulator revealed the range of the Zeekr 007 GT electric estate. It will offer up to 825 km range, thanks to a 100 kWh ternary NMC battery from CATL. Later, this model will reach European markets under the Zeekr 7 GT name.
Zeekr is a high-end NEV brand founded by Geely Group in 2021. Four years later, the brand’s model line comprises six models. This year, Zeekr will expand its lineup to nine cars. In Q2, Zeekr will start sales of its seventh model, which is the Zeekr 007 GT estate (shooting brake or wagon). On February 17, the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology revealed information about the batteries & range of the Zeekr 007 GT.
Zeekr 007 GT battery and range specs
The Zeekr 007 GT stands on the PMA2+ platform that also underpins the Zeekr 007 sedan. This platform derives from the SEA modular architecture developed by Zeekr Technology Europe based in Sweden. Previously, this estate was seen in China during road tests next to the Porsche Taycan and Audi RS6. Now, the Chinese regulator has revealed information about the 007 GT’s batteries.
The entry-level Zeekr 007 GT adopts the CATL-made and Zeekr-developed LFP battery with a capacity of 75 kWh. This pack is officially called Golden Brick Battery. Its main feature is the world’s fastest DC charging technology. Thanks to the 800V high-voltage system (4.5C charging), this pack can be charged from 10 to 80% in 10.5 minutes.
The top-trim Zeekr 007 GT boasts the 100-kWh CATL-made ternary NMC battery. It also adopts the 800V system. As a result, this pack can add 610 km in 15 minutes, which is the best among mass-produced EVs, according to Zeekr.
These two batteries come with RWD and 4WD. We have listed details about the Zeekr 007 GT’s battery and range below. The range number of this EV is given under CLTC conditions.

So, the Zeekr 007 GT can run from 585 to 825 km on a single charge. For comparison, the Zeekr 007 sedan’s CLTC range lies between 616 and 870 km due to a lower drag coefficient.
More about the Zeekr 007 GT
The Zeekr 007 GT was previously known under the CC1E codename. It is a mid-size estate with dimensions of 4864/1900/1445 mm and a wheelbase of 2925 mm. The 007 GT adopts the brand’s latest Hidden Energy design language with a Zeekr Stargate interactive screen in the front end. The car rides on two wheel options: 19-inch and 20-inch.
The RWD variant of the Zeekr 007 GT has a single synchronous permanent magnet electric motor with a peak power of 310 kW (416 hp). The 4WD variant adds a 165 kW (221 hp) e-motor in the front axle. The system’s total power output reaches 475 kW (637 hp). The Zeekr 007 sedan has a low ground clearance of just 119 mm. The Zeekr 007 GT solves this problem by using air suspension. The car also has an optional tow hook.
The Zeekr 007 GT will enter the Chinese market in the second quarter of 2024. Later, it will reach Europe under the Zeekr 7 GT name. It is worth mentioning that the Zeekr brand is already on sale in several European countries, including the Netherlands, Norway, and Sweden.
