Geely Galaxy Starship 7 official images released ahead of launch
On October 22, Geely Galaxy released the official images of its Starship 7 plug-in hybrid SUV powered by Geely’s next-generation Thor system. The market launch is expected to be later this year.

The Geely Galaxy Starship 7 was recently declared by the Chinese MIIT in September. Positioned as a medium-sized SUV and built on Geely’s new (Global Energy Architecture) GEA platform, its body size is 4740/1905/1685 mm and the wheelbase is 2755 mm.
At the rear, the Geely Galaxy Starship 7 adopts a hidden exhaust outlet layout and uses a horizontal through-type LED taillight group. Below the light group is the “GEELY” brand logo. From the side, the body is equipped with conventional door handles and a panoramic sunroof.

The plug-in hybrid system consists of a 1.5L engine model BHE15-BFN and a front electric motor, coupled with lithium iron phosphate battery packs supplied by SVOLT or Sunwoda Electronic. The maximum power of the engine is 82 kW (110 hp).
The declared trims by the Chinese MIIT are equipped with 19.09 kWh and 28.94 kWh battery packs, with a corresponding pure electric cruising range of 101 km and 150 km, respectively; and the comprehensive fuel consumption is 4.85L/100km and 4.88L/100km, respectively. The corresponding curb weight is 1724 kg and 1790 kg. Fast charging is also standard. At this time, the comprehensive range has not been announced officially.
Inside, the interior adopts a dual-color scheme: brown and black. The cockpit features a double-spoke flat-bottom multi-function steering wheel, a floating LCD instrument panel, a large central control screen, surround ambient lights, an air-conditioning outlet that runs across the dashboard, and two mobile phone storage compartments with wireless charging as well as two cupholders on the center console. There seems to be a speaker on the upper right of the dashboard in front of the co-pilot position.

Additionally, the center console comes with numerous physical buttons and a rotary knob. An AI assistant and the Flyme Auto smart cockpit operating system are also expected to be present.
Geely Galaxy’s September sales were 29,047 units, a year-on-year increase of 122%. From January to September this year, Geely Galaxy’s cumulative sales were 153,682 units, a year-on-year increase of about 250%.
