The updated 2025 BYD Atto 3 was seen in China during road tests. As this model was previously revealed by the governmental regulator, BYD didn’t cover it with heavy camouflage. We can see that the refreshed Atto 3 has a redesigned front end with a sportier bumper that integrates a larger trapeze-shaped air intake. The rear end of the 2025 Atto 3 shows a new bumper with the same trapeze-shaped pattern and a decorative diffuser.
It is worth mentioning that the Atto 3 update also got a new roof spoiler. It has a new shape with vertically aligned dual brake lights. They replaced the single light strip of the previous variant. Another highlight of this vehicle is a new body color. The 2025 Atto 3 was spotted in China in a beige shade. The 2024 model year Atto 3 is offered in White, Black, Purple, Blue, Green, and Gray colors in China.

From the side, the 2025 Atto 3 has decorative chrome-plated strips and partly blackened rear pillars. Thanks to these changes, the car has a sharper look. The front bumper of the updated Atto 3 has a new camera. It hits that the updated car will have new ADAS (advanced driver-assistance system) capabilities.

Previously, the updated BYD Atto 3 was listed by the Chinese governmental regulator in the category of car adjustments. Only updated variants of existing models are listed here with powertrain and specs remaining unchanged. So, the 2025 Atto 3 will stay in line with its predecessor in terms of powertrain and size.
We will remind you that the current Atto 3 has dimensions of 4455/1875/1615 mm with a wheelbase of 2720 mm. It has a single electric motor in the front axle for 150 kW (201 hp). There are two LFP battery options available for the Atto 3: 49.9 kWh and 60.5 kWh. They provide 430 km and 510 km range under CLTC conditions, respectively.

The current version of BYD Atto 3 price range is 116,800 – 144,800 yuan (15,225 – 20,120 USD) in China. CarNewsChina expects the updated variant of this SUV will be released in Q2 2025.
