Chery Fulwin T8 PHEV with 2,000 km real-world-tested range will open pre-sale on January 11
Recently, Chery’s Fulwin T8 plug-in hybrid SUV has arrived at dealers in China. It is scheduled to start pre-sale on January 11, available in five-seater and seven-seater layouts.

The Fulwin T8 is the rebadged Tiggo 8 C-DM, but the latter was never launched with an estimated price range of 130,000 – 160,000 yuan (18,300 – 22,500 USD).
The length, width, and height of the Fulwin T8 are 4730 (4715)/1860/1747 mm, respectively, and the wheelbase is 2710 mm. The curb weight is 1,879 kg and 1,907 kg for the five-seater and seven-seater, respectively.

Power comes from Chery’s C-DM 5.0 technology, similar to that of the Chery Fulwin A8L. Specifically, the 1.5T engine outputs 115 kW (154 hp) and 220 Nm while the electric motor outputs 150 kW (201 hp) and 310 Nm. Two lithium iron phosphate battery pack options with capacities of 18.46 kWh and 18.66 kWh are offered. The official CLTC comprehensive fuel consumption is 2.5L/100km, the WLTC pure electric range is 90 km, the CLTC pure electric range is 130+ km, and the comprehensive range is 1,200+ km. At the same time, Chery claimed that the real-world-tested comprehensive range is 2,000+ km.
A 3.3 kW external discharge function is also supported.
Coming to the interior, the cockpit adopts a T-shaped layout, featuring a D-shaped steering wheel with the “FULWIN” logo, a 10.25-inch rectangular instrument panel, and a 15.6-inch 2.5K central control screen powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip. The operating system comes from Chery’s latest Lion 5.0 OS. The center console has two wireless charging panels, cupholders, physical buttons for function controls, and a rotary knob.

Behind the center console is a storage compartment and the third row comes with a foldable armrest equipped with two holders. Furthermore, the front seats support electric adjustment, 3-speed heating, and ventilation while the co-pilot seat features an additional electric leg rest and 10-point massage function. After the second and third rows are folded down, the trunk volume can be expanded to 1930 L.
Other configurations include 10 Sony speakers, headrest speakers, climate control, an air-purification system, and 18 level 2 advanced driving assistance functionalities.
