Geely Boyue series sold one car every 2.3 minutes, company says

Recently, Geely announced that its Boyue series reached the two millionth vehicle cumulative sales milestone globally, equivalent to one car sold every 2.3 minutes. In the domestic Chinese market, the series consists of the Geely Boyue and Boyue L. Both models are available in four trims with an official price range of 92,800 – 118,800 yuan (12,800 – 16,400 USD) and 115,700 – 149,700 yuan (16,000 – 20,700 USD), respectively.

Earlier on February 27, Geely also announced that the two millionth vehicle in the Boyue series rolled off the assembly line.

So far, the series is sold in 60 countries. It was among the best-selling Chinese cars in Costa Rica, Moldova, Panama, Peru, Qatar, and the UAE. Looking back, the series’ monthly sales exceeded 10,000 units in the first four months after its launch, 30,000 units in two years, one million units in 52 months, and two million units in 107 months. For the first two months of 2025, 40,542 units were sold.

Both models adopt a similar design, but the body measurements and wheelbase are different. Geely Boyue: 4510/1865/1650 mm with a 2701 mm wheelbase. Geely Boyue L: 4670/1900/1705 mm with a 2777 mm wheelbase.

The entire series is powered by a 1.5T turbocharged engine mated to a 7-speed DCT, with a maximum power of 133 kW (178 hp) and a peak torque of 290 Nm. The Geely Boyue L offers an additional 2.0T engine option, with a maximum power of 160 kW (215 hp) and a peak torque of 325 Nm. Four driving modes are supported: economy, comfort, sports, and smart.

Both the Geely Boyue L and Geely Boyue come standard with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip in the cockpit, along with a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument panel and a 13.2-inch central control screen.

In February, Geely sold 204,910 vehicles, up 84% year-on-year, with monthly sales exceeding 200,000 for six consecutive months; new energy vehicle sales were 98,433 units, up 194% year-on-year.
