BYD released the official images of its upcoming Seal 07 EV, built based on the e-platform 3.0 Evo and boasts a 705 km range. Its official launch is expected to be in March.

The BYD Seal 07 EV adopts a similar design as that of the 2026 Seal 07 DM-i, featuring a closed front face flanked by narrow headlights and a trapezoidal grille at the bottom, a continuous taillight cluster with a chrome trim strip embedded above, hidden door handles, a sunroof, and the roof slopes downward from the B-pillar.

The lidar on the roof also suggests advanced driving assistance functions. For reference, the Seal 07 DM-i is equipped with BYD’s “God’s Eye” B solution (DiPilot 300). The EV variant is expected to be the same, but with the upgraded “God’s Eye” 5.0 version, which may launch at BYD’s March 5th event.

Dimensionally, the BYD Seal 07 EV measures 4995 mm in length, 1910 mm in width, and 1495 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2900 mm, which is 10 mm wider than the DM-i variant. Its curb weight is 1,940 kg.

Power comes from a rear-mounted electric motor, delivering a maximum power of 240 kW (322 hp), paired with a 69.07 kWh Blade battery pack, according to previous regulatory filing. The battery weighs 490.6 kg and provides a CLTC pure electric range of 705 km. Its top speed is 200 km/h and power consumption per 100 km is 10.8 kWh.

Coming to the cabin, the design layout also remains consistent with that of the Seal 07 DM-i, featuring a two-spoke multi-function steering wheel, an embedded full LCD instrument panel, a 15.6-inch floating central control screen. The center console is equipped with wireless charging panel, cup holders, a row of physical buttons for vehicle controls, and a rotary knob.
