Zeekr and Lynk & Co brands revealed their product planning for 2025 after Zeekr Technology became the majority shareholder of Lynk & Co. Geely’s Zeekr will launch three new models, starting from the Q2 2025. And Lynk & Co plans to kick off sales of two cars. Moreover, the Lynk & Co 02 and the Lynk & Co 08 cars will go global to expand the brand’s overseas lineup.

Lynk & Co and Zeekr have an interesting background. The first mentioned brand was founded in 2017 between Geely and Volvo as a semi-premium brand for young buyers. Its domestic model line has been rapidly developing since then.

In 2020, Lynk & Co released the Zero Concept electric car. In a year, this model turned into a mass-produced car. Moreover, it became the first car under the Geely-operated Zeekr brand. In 2024, Zeekr became one of the best-selling NEV brands in China. At the same time, it was confirmed that Geely-owned Zeekr Technology will acquire Lynk & Co to streamline product planning and prevent inner competition. Now, these brands have shared their plans and goals for 2025.

Zeekr & Lynk & Co vision for 2025

In 2025, Zeekr will continue developing the model line of new energy vehicles with a price range above 300,000 yuan (41,150 USD). Its mid-size and large cars will be fully electric while fill-size models will adopt plug-in hybrid systems. In contrast, Lynk & Co will focus on the cheaper segment of vehicles with a price above 200,000 yuan (27,450 USD). Its small cars designed for urban mobility will adopt an electric powertrain while larger models will adopt a plug-in hybrid system.

In 2025, Zeekr & Lynk & Co plan to sell 710,000 cars in total. Their long-term goal is to become a new energy alternative to German legacy brands like BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Audi. To reach this goal, Zeekr Technology will expand its model line domestically and globally.

Zeekr product planning

In 2025, Zeekr will launch three more vehicles in China throughout 2025. The first vehicle to enter the market is the Zeekr 007 GT estate. It is a mid-size car with dimensions of 4865/1900/1450 mm and a wheelbase of 2928 mm. It shares powertrain options with the Zeekr 007 sedan. So, the top-trim level 007 GT offers up to 475 kW (637 hp) and a 100 kW ternary NMC battery. Fine features of the Zeekr 007 GT include air suspension and a power tow hook. This wagon will enter China in Q2 2025.

The Zeekr EX1H (codename) flagship SUV with a plug-in hybrid powertrain will start sales in China in Q3 2025. This vehicle was previously seen in China several times, revealing sturdy proportions. However, its specs have yet to be revealed. Interestingly, the EX1H crossover has an electric variant codenamed EX1E. However, it is unclear if the BEV variant of this vehicle will make it to the market as Zeekr focuses on PHEVs in the large SUV segment.

Zeekr’s third new model will enter the market in Q4 this year as a large SUV. The codename of this vehicle is DX1H. Previously, this model also had an electric variant called DX1E. A lot of information about this SUV is still unavailable.

Lynk & Co product planning

Lynk & Co plans to launch two models in China in 2025. The first car to enter the market is the Lynk & Co 900 full-size plug-in hybrid SUV with six seats inside. It boasts dimensions of 5240/1999/1810 mm with a wheelbase of 3160 mm. This vehicle adopts dual-chamber air suspension from Khat. Inside, it has a large 30-inch 6K screen. The most powerful variant of the Lynk & Co 900 has a 2-liter turbocharged ICE and three electric motors. The combined power output of this system reaches 630 kW (845 hp). The Lynk & Co 900 will start sales in China in Q2 2025.

There is no information about the upcoming Lynk & Co’s second new model. However, Zeekr Technology detailed the international development strategy for this brand. This year, Lynk & Co will triple its overseas lineup by launching two cars globally. The first vehicle is the Lynk & Co 02 electric SUV coupe. This car was launched in China on December 22 under the Lynk & Co Z20 name. The second car to enter global markets is the Lynk & Co 08 plug-in hybrid SUV.
