This vehicle will make its market debut in mid-2025 in China, replacing the A4L. The Audi A5L\u2019s wheelbase is just 2 mm shorter than the one of the Audi A6 C8.<\/p>\n<p>The Audi A5L was first shown at the Guangzhou Auto Show 2024 in November last year. That car was a pre-production variant as the A5L was set for launch in mid-2025. The vehicle has a wide body, thanks to sculpted fenders. From the back, the A5L adopts an LED taillight unit and a ducktail spoiler. Here, we have to mention that the A5L is an actual sedan, unlike the A5 for global markets. The new A5L has a large grille and sharp LED headlights, creating a recognizable look. Another feature of the car is electric door handles. The Audi A5L will be available with three front &amp; rear bumper variants.<\/p>\n<p>The Audi A5L boasts dimensions of 4903\/1883\/1427 mm. Its wheelbase stretches to 2922 mm. So, the China-made sedan is 74 mm longer, 23 mm wider, and 17 mm lower than its global sibling. Its approach and departure angles are 13 and 14 degrees, respectively. The FWD Audi A5L has a curb weight of 1810 kg while the AWD variant weighs 1875 kilos.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Audi A5L powertrain<\/h2>\n<p>The Audi A5L adopts the DXF 2-liter turbocharged four-cylinder made by SAIC-Volkswagen Power Battery. It is the fifth-gen EA888 engine with a peak power output of 150 kW (201 hp). It features a 48V belt starter generator. There is no information about the gearbox at the moment.<\/p>\n<p>The Audi A5L comes standard with front-wheel drive and a top speed of 240 km\/h.
