The updated BYD Atto 3 was revealed in official images with new exterior styling and enhanced driver assistance capabilities. This electric SUV will soon start sales in China under the Yuan Plus name.<\/p>\n

The updated BYD Atto 3 was previously revealed by the governmental regulator. Later, this vehicle was seen in China during road tests. On February 21, BYD officially shared this car\u2019s images. The automaker\u2019s representatives call it the second generation. However, it is actually a short-term facelift.<\/p>\n

The new BYD Atto 3 has a redesigned front end with a sportier bumper with a camera, and a larger trapeze-shaped air intake. Its headlights remained the same with a distinguishing \u201cDragon\u2019s Whiskers\u201d chrome-plated element between them. The car adopts a new body color and partly blackened D-pillars. From the back, the Atto 3 has a new roof spoiler with dual brake lights. The taillight unit integrates the Chinese knot pattern with dynamic turn signals.<\/p>\n

The updated BYD Atto 3 will adopt 17-inch and 18-inch wheel options. The main feature of the new vehicle is the God\u2019s Eye C (DiSus 100) driving assistance system. It has a three-camera block mounted under the windshield. The car also integrates four surround-view cameras, five long-range cameras, five mm-wave radars, and twelve ultrasonic radars. The updated Atto 3 has a total of 29 sensors.<\/p>\n

According to BYD, the refreshed SUV supports ten high-speed navigation scenarios. It also has six intelligent parking modes. We will remind you that the current Atto 3 has dimensions of 4455\/1875\/1615 mm with a wheelbase of 2720 mm. It has a single electric motor in the front axle for 150 kW (201 hp). There are two LFP battery options available for the Atto 3: 49.9 kWh and 60.5 kWh. They provide 430 km and 510 km range under CLTC conditions, respectively.<\/p>\n
