Xiaomi aims to sell 10,000 units of 114K USD SU7 Ultra
Xiaomi founder and CEO Lei Jun shared that the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra performance sedan has a sales goal of 10,000 units in 2025. This car will start sales in China in March with a price tag of 814,900 yuan (114,200 USD). According to Lei Jun, the Xiaomi SU7 will have five body color variants.

The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra started pre-sales in China on October 29 last year. Despite its high price tag, this performance sedan got 3,680 orders 10 minutes after the presentation. Now, Lei Jun disclosed the bold sales goal for the SU7 Ultra.
Xiaomi aims to sell 10,000 units of SU7 Ultra in 2025
On February 5, Xiaomi founder and CEO Lei Jun said on his social media account that the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra sedan has an annual sales goal of 10,000 units. Interestingly, Xiaomi’s top manager underlined that the sedan will be released at the end of this month alongside the market launch of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra phone. Previously, the sales start of the performance EV was scheduled for March 2025.

Lei Jun also mentioned that the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra will be offered in five body color options. We will remind you that the regular variant of the SU7 has ten body shades, which is one of the widest color ranges among Chinese automakers. The golden emblem will become another highlight of the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra.
Last year, Goldman Sachs investment bank forecasted Xiaomi SU7 Ultra sales will be 4,000 units in 2025. However, Lei Jun is confident in the success of this model. Previously, CarNewsChina reported that the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra started volume manufacturing at the brand’s Beijing plant.

The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra boasts dimensions of 5115/1970/1465 mm with a wheelbase of 3000 mm. Its rear spoiler has a width of 1560 mm, good for a 285 kg downforce. It also equips R21 wheels with Pirelli P Zero 5 tires. The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra equips the largest carbon ceramic brake discs on a sports car to date.

The SU7 Ultra integrates the CATL-made Qilin 2.0 battery with a capacity of 93.7 kWh and a maximum discharge power of 1,330 kW. It has three electric motors on board with a combined peak power output of 1,138 kW (1,526 hp, 1,548 ps). The peak torque reaches 1,770 Nm. It speeds up to 100 km/h in 1.98 seconds. The top speed is 350 km/h.
The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra costs 814,900 yuan in China. It is 114,200 USD. For a comparison, the price of the Porsche Taycan Turbo GT reaches 1,998,000 yuan (280K USD) in China.
