Xpeng G6 Chinese SUV coupe launched in the UK for 49,855 USD
Chinese NEV maker Xpeng launched the G6 electric SUV coupe in the UK. This model starts at 39,990 GBP (49,885 USD). The entry-level Xpeng G6 for the UK market boasts a peak power of 190 kW (255 hp) and a 270-mile (435 km) range under WLTP conditions. The Xpeng G6 will start deliveries in March.
The Xpeng G6 is a sporty SUV coupe launched in China in June 2023 with a starting price of 209,900 yuan (28,720 USD). Cumulative sales of the Xpeng G6 in the local market reached 90,268 units from June 2023 to January 2025, according to China EV DataTracker. The Xpeng G6 became one of the brand’s drivers in overseas markets. Now, this vehicle was launched in the United Kingdom.

The Xpeng G6 was first introduced to the UK at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2024. On February 13, 2025, Xpeng launched the G6 sales in the United Kingdom. International Motors Ltd (IML) will act as Xpeng dealer in the market, planning to open around 20 stores this year.
The Xpeng G6 will become the brand’s first model in the UK. This crossover stands on the SEPA 2.0 platform with a torsional rigidity of 41,600 Nm/degree. Dimensions of the Xpeng G6 are 4753/1920/1650 mm with a wheelbase of 2980 mm. It aligns with the Tesla Model Y in terms of sizing. The Xpeng G6 adopts 20-inch rims with Michelin tyres.
The interior of the Xpeng G6 for the UK boasts two 50W wireless charging pads, a 10.2-inch LCD instrument cluster, and a 14.96-inch main screen. The driver’s seat of this crossover offers 8-way power adjustment and 4-way lumbar support. The car’s front seats are also equipped with heating and ventilation functions. Another highlight of the Xpeng G6 is a 960W audio system with 18 speakers.
The entry-level Xpeng G6 has a single electric motor for 190 kW (255 hp) and 440 Nm in the rear axle. A 66 kWh LFP battery power this e-motor, suitable for a WLTP range of 270 miles (435 km). The second variant of the Xpeng G6 is also RWD. But its power output is increased to 210 kW (282 hp). A ternary NMC battery for 87.5 kWh powers this e-motor, good for a 354-mile (570 km) range.
It is worth mentioning that the Xpeng G6 is also available with dual-motor 4WD for 358 kW (480 hp). However, this variant won’t be available in the UK market.
The Xpeng G6 Standard Range costs 39,990 GBP (49,855 USD) in the UK. The Long Range variant of this model with a bigger battery is offered for 44,990 GBP (56,090 USD). During the launch ceremony, Xpeng also showcased the G9 crossover, the X9 minivan, and the P7+ sedan. These vehicles will likely enter the UK market next.
