Xpeng G7 exposed interior in China ahead of launch
The Xpeng G7’s interior was exposed in a spy shot in China as the car gets ready for market entry. The G7’s cabin retains the design language of the previously launched P7+ sedan. The Xpeng G7 became the brand’s longest SUV.

The Xpeng G7 applied for a sales license in China on January 10, revealing its core specs. It is a mid-size RWD crossover with a CALB’s LFP battery pack on board. It is the third model following Xpeng’s latest low-price and high-configuration strategy. Now, its interior has been exposed in China by Autohome‘s source.

The Xpeng G7’s interior adopts a design language similar to the P7+ sedan. Its center console has a large 15.6-inch floating screen and a 10.25-inch LCD instrument panel. The gear shifter of the Xpeng P7+ sits behind the two-spoke oval-shaped steering wheel. The G7’s door cards also align with the P7+. They have buttons instead of door handles.

The center tunnel of the G7 crossover is hidden. However, it is likely to stay in line with the mentioned sedan. It has two wireless charging pads, a pair of cup holders, and a spacious storage compartment. It is worth noting that the Xpeng G7’s cabin adopts a black-white color scheme.

The Xpeng G7 is a five-seat mid-size crossover with dimensions of 4892/1925/1655 mm. It is the Xpeng’s longest SUV, 1 mm ahead of the brand’s flagship SUV G9. However, the G7 has a shorter wheelbase of 2890 mm compared to the 2998 mm of the G9. The G7 rides on 18-inch and 20-inch wheels. Its curb weight lies in the 2085 – 2160 kg range.
The Xpeng G7 has a single electric motor mounted in the rear axle with a peak power output of 218 kW (292 hp). The car’s top speed reaches 202 km/h. The G7’s battery capacity and range are unknown. However, the Chinese regulator revealed that Xpeng’s latest crossover has a CALB-made LFP battery pack on board.

Prices for the new G7 may start at around 200,000 yuan (27,300 USD). Sales should begin in the first half of 2025.
