Xiaomi officials explained that the autonomous parking function of some SU7 sedans suffered from an occasional failure of the cloud service’s timing synchronization. The automaker reported that it implemented effective preventive measures through the cloud service and then added more redundant protection strategy measures to the smart parking assistance, confirming that the risk is eliminated.

After two months of testing and verification, Xiaomi confirmed their solution is safe and reliable. So, the company announced an OTA software upgrade recall. It means Xiaomi SU7 owners will be able to update the software of their vehicles without having to visit official service centers.
