It will become the brand\u2019s third model in the local market, following the Lynk &amp; Co 01 PHEV compact SUV and the Lynk &amp; Co 02 electric fastback crossover.<\/p>\n<p>The Lynk &amp; Co 08 entered the Chinese market in September 2023 with a starting price of 208,800 yuan (28,800 USD), becoming the brand\u2019s bestselling model. Its cumulative deliveries from September 2023 to January 2025 reached 115,714 units, according to China EV DataTracker. This year, the Lynk &amp; Co 08 will start sales in Europe to broaden the brand\u2019s lineup.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">More about Lynk &amp; Co 08<\/h2>\n<p>The Lynk &amp; Co 08 adopts the brand\u2019s latest design language, which derives from the Lynk &amp; Co The Next Day concept car. The mid-size SUV has distinguishing running lights and headlamps integrated into the front bumper. Those headlights are joined by an interactive LED strip. The Lynk &amp; Co 08 has no grille. They integrate cameras and sensors of the car in one place. The Tech Totem aims to underline the brand\u2019s efforts in the fields of new technologies. The Lynk &amp; Co 08 has retractable door handles, a curved roofline, and a single taillight unit. Dimensions of the Lynk &amp; Co 08 are 4820\/1915\/1685 mm with a wheelbase of 2848 mm. The car\u2019s highlight is the 92-inch augmented reality head-up display. The car\u2019s gear shifter sits behind the D-shaped steering wheel. The Lynk &amp; Co 08\u2019s infotainment system adopts two A1000 chips made by Black Sesame and a pair of 7 nm chips from SiEngine. The NPU computing power reaches 16 TOPS.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Lynk &amp; Co 08 powertrain<\/h2>\n<p>In China, the Lynk &amp; Co 08 offers two plug-in hybrid powertrain options. The entry-level model has a 1.5-liter turbocharged ICE under the hood with a peak power of 120 kW (161 hp). It is paired with an electric motor for 160 kW (215 hp). The 4WD variant of the Lynk &amp; Co 08 adds up to an additional e-motor for 156 kW (209 hp). The first one is 21 kWh, suitable for 120 km of electric range. The bigger pack boasts a capacity of 40 kWh, good for a 220 \u2013 245 km range, depending on the drive type.<\/p>\n<p>The exact powertrain specs of the Lynk &amp; Co 08 in Europe have yet to be released. However, the car was said to have a WLTP electric range of 200 km. According to the automaker, it is the biggest number for a PHEV in Europe. The Lynk &amp; Co 08\u2019s battery can be charged from 10 to 80% in 33 minutes. The mixed range of the Lynk &amp; Co 08 reaches 1,100 km. The broadening of the model line will help the Chinese automaker to take a larger market share.<\/p>\n<p>Lynk &amp; Co currently sells in 22 European markets.
