On March 1, Great Wall Motor (GWM) opened its 2025 Tank 300 for reservation, with a deposit of 3,000 yuan (412 USD). The major upgrades are intelligence and powertrain layouts. Consumers can choose from gasoline-powered, diesel-powered, and Hi4-T plug-in hybrid variants. <\/p>\n

For reference, the Tank 300 currently on sale is equipped with either a 2.0T gasoline engine, a 2.0T gasoline engine + 48V mild hybrid system, a 3.0T V6 engine + 48V mild hybrid system, or a Hi4-T plug-in hybrid power system, with a starting price of 199,800 yuan (27,400 USD).<\/p>\n

The 2025 Tank 300 continues the brand\u2019s exterior design while adding a new desert yellow body color. The wide bumper and round headlights on the front face, traditional door handles, roof racks, and rear spare tire are retained. Both the gasoline and diesel-powered variants also come with a winch at the front bumper position. Electric side steps and tow hook are optional.<\/p>\n

The dimensions are 4750 (4775)\/1930\/1903 (1927) mm, and the wheelbase is 2750 mm.<\/p>\n

The gasoline-powered variant has a 2.0T engine model E20CB with a maximum power of 167 kW (224 hp) and a peak torque of 387 Nm while the diesel-powered variant has a 2.4T engine model E24D with a maximum power of 137 kW (184 hp) and a peak torque of 480 Nm. The Hi4-T plug-in hybrid variant is also powered by a 2.0T engine and has a pure electric range of 105 km. Additionally, the transmission comes from China\u2019s first self-developed 9AT, and 10 driving modes are supported.<\/p>\n

At this time, the rest of the powertrain specifications still need to be revealed officially. <\/p>\n

The cockpit is equipped with a D-shaped steering wheel, a 12.3-inch instrument panel, a new 14.6-inch floating central control screen powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, and new dual 50W mobile phone wireless fast charging pads. The audio system is upgraded to consist of 12 speakers and active noise cancellation, the operating system is supported by the third-generation Coffee OS 3, and the seats are made of Nappa leather. <\/p>\n
