Zeekr 009 MPV achieves sales of 4,201 units in November

Zeekr officially announced sales of its Zeekr 009 pure-electric MPV has recorded sales of 4,201 units in November. This is a new historical high for the brand’s flagship MPV model.

The company also stated that in November, Zeekr 009 sales claimed the title of the top-selling pure-electric vehicle above 400,000 yuan (55,000 USD) and top-selling MPV above 400,000 yuan (55,000 USD).

The Zeekr 009 MPV features several different trims including a 6-seat version, 7-seat version, and the 4-seat ultra-luxury Zeekr 009 Grand. The model was first launched in 2022 and recently received a facelift this summer.

Ever since the 2024 Zeekr 009 was launched, sales have been trending upwards. The official sales breakdown is as follows:

June: 586 units
July: 1,591 units
August: 3,195 units
September: 3,794 units
October: 3,334 units
November: 4,201 units

The 2024 Zeekr 009 was first launched in July 2024 for Mainland China and Hong Kong. The car has since also been launched in Malaysia and more recently in Singapore.

The 2024 Zeekr 009 comes with hefty dimensions of 5217/2024/1812 mm, with a wheelbase of 3205 mm. The facelift comes with upgrades such as 30 Yamaha speakers, a LiDAR sensor, dual-chamber air suspension, and up to 778 hp. The refresh also offers up to 900 km CLTC, the longest range among existing pure-electric MPVs.

The refreshed model drastically improved the Zeekr 009’s sales, as the previous 009 sold only 2,907 units in the first half of 2024. With the new model, the 2024 009 has sold a total of 16,701 units before year end. This is likely due to the emergence of the cheaper 7-seat FWD variant and dropping the starting price by 61,000 yuan (8,400 USD).
