On July 2, 2026, Xpeng initiated pre-sales for the Mona L03, the inaugural SUV in its Mona lineup. The vehicle comes in six variants, with pre-sale prices spanning from 143,800 yuan (approximately $21,100) to 165,800 yuan (around $24,400). The official launch in the market is slated for July 16.
Design-wise, the Mona L03 was shaped by a global team under the direction of Juanma Lopez, former Ferrari exterior design chief. The SUV measures 4,650 mm in length, 1,920 mm in width, and 1,600 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,850 mm. Thanks to 22 aerodynamic tweaks, it achieves a drag coefficient of 0.228, which adds up to 59.3 km of extra range.

Inside, the cabin is packed with high-end tech, including a 15.6-inch 2.5K central touchscreen and a 26.8-inch W-HUD system. With Xpeng's own Turing AI chip, the car delivers up to 1,500 TOPS of computing power and supports the second-generation VLA (Vision-Language-Action) model to boost assisted driving features.
Other interior highlights are:
- Audio: A 20-speaker sound system with a peak output exceeding 1,000W.
- Comfort: 14-point massage zero-gravity seats, 256-color ambient lighting, and RNC (Road Noise Cancellation) technology.
- Storage: 40 compartments throughout the vehicle, a 539L trunk (expandable to 1,640L), and a 102L front trunk.
For powertrain options, the Mona L03 offers both extended-range (EREV) and pure electric (BEV) versions:
- Extended-range version: Powered by a 1.5L range extender (70 kW max) and a drive motor with 183 kW (246 hp). It provides a CLTC pure electric range of 315 km and a total range of 1,330 km, with WLTC fuel consumption at 5.16 L/100 km.
- Pure electric version: Fitted with a 183 kW (246 hp) motor and CALB lithium iron phosphate batteries. Options include 56 kWh or 69 kWh battery packs, offering CLTC ranges of 525 km and 625 km, respectively. It accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 6.6 seconds and has an energy consumption of 11.9 kWh/100 km.
The vehicle also comes with DCC intelligent variable damping shock absorbers and an upgraded "Anti-Motion Sickness Mode 2.0" to enhance passenger comfort.
