Geely Galaxy Starship 7 EM-i delivered more than 20,000 units one month after launch
Since its official launch on December 6, 2024, the Geely Galaxy Starship 7 EM-i has delivered more than 20,000 units in the first month. Currently, the car is available in five trims. For consumers who place a firm order before January 31, a limited-time first-come-first-served price of 99,800 – 132,800 yuan (13,600 – 18,200 USD) is offered.

Furthermore, as of December 19, the Geely Galaxy Starship 7 EM-i had been on the market for only 13 days, and its cumulative delivery volume exceeded 10,000 units, breaking the fastest delivery record for plug-in hybrid SUVs, according to the automaker.
One highlight of the Geely Galaxy Starship 7 EM-i is Geely’s self-developed next-generation Thor PHEV system, mated to an E-DHT, consisting of a 1.5L hybrid engine with a thermal efficiency of 46.5% and an electric motor. The engine outputs 82 kW (110 hp) and 136 Nm while the motor outputs 160 kW (215 hp) and 262 Nm, giving a 0 – 100 km/h acceleration time of 7.5 seconds.

Two lithium iron phosphate battery pack capacities are offered: 8.5 kWh and 19.09 kWh, providing a corresponding CLTC pure electric range of 55 km and 120 km. The associated curb weight is 1,610 kg and 1,724 kg, respectively. Moreover, the CLTC fuel consumption is 3.75 L per 100 km. Under a full fuel tank and full charge, the comprehensive range is 1,420 km. Additionally, only the top trim supports DC fast charging in which it takes 20 minutes to replenish the battery from 30% to 80%.
Built based on Geely’s GEA platform, the Geely Galaxy Starship 7 EM-i measures 4740/1905/1685 mm, with a 2755 mm wheelbase, offering a space utilization rate of up to 84.3%. The standard trunk volume is 528 L and can be expanded to 2065 L after folding down the rear seats.
Inside, the 14.6-inch central control display integrates a wealth of vehicle control functions and entertainment systems, powered by the Flyme Auto smart cockpit system. The seats are made of leather materials. In addition, the Geely Galaxy Starship 7 EM-i is equipped with a 10.2-inch full LCD instrument panel and a 13.8-inch W-HUD, realizing three-screen linkage.
