Lynk & Co 900 unveiled as a PHEV with up to 630 kW of power
On January 3 in Shanghai, Lynk & Co unveiled its new flagship SUV, the Lynk & Co 900. Previously known by its code name L946, the Lynk & Co 900 is the brand’s largest vehicle to date. A six-seater SUV, it should go on sale in March 2025.

A three-row SUV, it has dimensions of 5240 mm length, a width of 1999 mm, and a height of 1810 mm. Meanwhile, the wheelbase is a rather long, 3160 mm.
Externally, the car has a sleek design. The front is largely enclosed, with an air intake at the bottom of the fender. Obviously, the Arrangement of the lights is similar to that of recent Lynk & Co models such as the 07 EM-P, 08 EM-P, and Z10.

The side view mirrors are mounted on arms that come from the doors. There is a floating roof style design thanks to blacked-out pillars, and the doors also feature concealed door handles. The official pictures show a Lynk & Co 900 equipped with Lidar. The slope of the rear hatch is somewhat similar to that of a Range Rover.
The car has five color options: Polar Night Black, Cloudy Gray, Morning Dawn Blue, Dawn White, and Sunlight Silver. These represent times from midnight to 9:00 AM in the morning.
The Lynk & Co 900 uses the SPA Evo platform for large electric hybrid vehicles. It supports vehicles with wheelbases of between 3050 mm and 3300 mm meaning that it is exclusive for vehicles of over five meters in length. It can support functions such as rear-wheel steering, high-end intelligent driving, and an AI digital chassis.

Furthermore, the layout aids with placing a large battery, helping create a flat floor in the cockpit, and with the electrical architecture and safety of the three electric systems.
The Lynk & Co 900 comes with CDC continuous damping control, which actively adjusts the suspension according to road conditions. A closed dual chamber air suspension system can switch between dual chamber and single chamber, which helps with the vehicle’s handling under various conditions such as cornering.
Most noticeable from the official interior shot is the large 30-inch 6K screen floating on the dashboard. This doubles as an infotainment screen and passenger entertainment screen. Bezel-less, it allows a multi-view split screen along with all-in-one interaction. This means it’s possible to digitally divide the screen.
There is also a thin 12.66-inch instrument display panel for the driver. Almost certainly, the Lynk & Code 900 will feature some form of wide-view head-up display, most likely with augmented reality.
Powering the car’s cockpit are dual Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chips.
Mounted on the two-spoke steering wheel are control pads. It is not clear from the picture whether the dial on the center console is the drive selector or not.
The center console features dual wireless mobile phone charging pads. There also appears to be some form of compartment with a sliding cover, behind which is another compartment with a split folding. There is yet another compartment behind this.
Also visible in the picture is a large space underneath the center console with USB and 12V power supply outlets visible. According to Lynk & Co, there are 42 storage compartments inside. Ergonomically designed, they allow users to store items from sunglasses to lipstick.
Folding down from the roof for a rear view for red passenger entertainment is a 30-inch 6K entertainment screen. Accessible from the second row is a slide-out fridge.
Lynk & C0 boasts the 900 has class-leading headroom and legroom. The interior area of Lynk & Co 900 is 6.16m², and the room efficiency is 88.2%. With long slide rails, the second-row seats have a movement range of 550 mm. In addition, the third row has seat back adjustment and a movement range of 125 mm.
The trunk volume is 300 liters with a depth of 590 mm, a width of 1130 mm, and a height of 786 mm. In addition, there is a hidden storage space under the floor with an additional 20 liters. The tailgate is a split design, meaning the lower part can be used as a shelf. When stationary, the roof rack can hold up to 300 kg or up to 100 kg when moving.
There appear to be options of imitation suede, imitation leather, along with Nappa leather for the seat trim. The cabin trim is made using PVD technology in order to protect the health of users while avoiding environmental pollution.
Buyers of the Lynk & Co 900 can choose from three different powertrains. Lower spec models have a PHEV system based around a 1.5T engine. In addition, it uses a 160 kW electric motor on the front axle and a 230 kW electric motor on the rear. The combined system power for this version is 530 kW.
The other two PHEV powertrains are based around a 2.0T engine. There is a dual motor version that uses a 123 kW electric motor on the front axle and a 230 kW motor on the rear, with a combined system power of 540 kW. Then there is the range-topper, which has a three-electric motor design. This has the same 123 kW electric motor on the front axle but uses a 160 kW electric motor on each of the rear wheels for a combined system power of 630 kW.
The top speed is said to be 200 km/h, while the acceleration time from 0-100 km/h is 4 seconds. Presumably, these figures are for the most powerful version. Thanks to the Lynk & Co digital AI chassis, the car can realize functions such as a waltz U-turn, crab mode, and other trickery.
Smart driving ability comes via Nvidia Orin X chips or Thor chips. Little else has been announced about the car’s ADAS capabilities, although it is evident that the car is equipped with Lidar.
As yet no information has been announced regarding pricing.
