SU7 Ultra price is 35% lower than presale price and deliveries will begin in April, with small batch already produced cars reaching early customers in March. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur mission is to make luxury cars affordable,\u201d said Xiaomi\u2019s CEO and founder Lei Jun on stage during the launch conference. \u201cTraditional gasoline vehicles will definitely be defeated by this car,\u201d Jun continued, praising the SU7 Ultra. <\/p>\n<p>The performance sedan with over 1,500 horsepower started presales in October last year for 814,900 yuan (111,800 USD). The starting sales price announced at launch was 285,000 yuan (39,000 USD) lower at 529,900 yuan (72,800 USD). Xiaomi received 6,900 orders for the SU7 Ultra within 10 minutes of the start, and the 10,000 milestone was surpassed in two hours. The customers need to deposit 20,000 yuan (2,700 USD), which is refundable within a week, after which the order will lock in. <\/p>\n<p>Customers can also place a 40,000 yuan (5,500 USD) non-refundable deposit for a stock car, which will be delivered \u201csoon\u201d before the official delivery starts in April. Xiaomi did the same thing with SU7 last year, when the small batch of already manufactured vehicles was named the Founders edition and delivered in advance to Xiaomi hard-core fans.<\/p>\n<p>Lei Jun<span style=\"box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;\">\u00a0calls the SU7 Ultra a \u201cDream car.\u201d It is a performance version of the SU7 sedan launched last March, which is also the consumer electronics giant\u2019s first car. SU7 starts at 215,900 yuan (21,600 USD) in China and sold 139,847 units in 2024, based on insurance registrations monitored by\u00a0China EV DataTracker. The waiting time for SU7 is 6-8 months, depending<\/span> on the trim level chosen, according to the Xiaomi website. <\/p>\n<p>SU7 Ultra is a four-door sedan with dimensions 5115\/1970\/1465 mm and a wheelbase of 3000 mm.\u00a0The 0-100 km\/h acceleration is 1.98 seconds thanks to three electric motors with a combined power of 1,138 kW (1,526 hp). There is a single e-motor for 288 kW (386 hp) in the front axle and two 425 kW (570 hp) electric motors in the rear axle.\u00a0The peak torque is 1,770 Nm, and the top speed is 359 km\/h.<\/p>\n<p>The electricity is stored in a CATL-made Qilin 2.0 ternary NMC battery pack for 93.7 kWh. It provides a cruising range of 620 km (CLTC) and takes 11 minutes to charge from 10% to 80%.<\/p>\n<p>Today, Xiaomi announced on its Weibo that the SU7 Ultra will arrive at the Mobile<span style=\"box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;\"> World Congress (MWC) in Spain in March. \u201cOn March 3, at MWC 2025 in Barcelona, \u200b\u200bSpain, the dual Ultras will debut overseas on the same stage.
