Leapmotor, the fast-growing Chinese new energy vehicle (NEV) manufacturer backed by Stellantis, has made its North American debut by launching the B10 EREV crossover in Mexico. Deliveries of this SUV have started with a starting price of 575,000 Mexican pesos (approximately $32,895 USD), providing up to 990 km of combined driving range and an output of 215 hp.
Leapmotor is a rapidly expanding Chinese NEV brand partially owned by Stellantis. According to earlier reports, Leapmotor delivered 93,376 units in June 2026, achieving an all-time high. The brand’s cumulative sales volume from January to June 2026 reached 356,487 vehicles, according to China EV DataTracker. The entry into North America marks another significant milestone for Leapmotor, which aims to sell 1 million cars by the end of the year.
Leapmotor B10 Launched in Mexico
The Leapmotor B10 became available for purchase in stores across Mexico after completing localization adaptation verification at the Stellantis Mexico Automotive Engineering R&D and Testing Center. Brand officials have disclosed that the C10 and C16 crossovers will follow next, targeting family-oriented buyers.



According to the brand’s official website, Leapmotor currently operates 28 stores across Mexico, with six located in Mexico City. After-sales support will be handled by Stellantis’ Mopar service division. Leapmotor owners in Mexico benefit from a four-year vehicle warranty and an eight-year battery warranty.
As mentioned, the Leapmotor B10 is priced at 575,000 pesos ($32,895 USD) in Mexico. For comparison, the model costs 32,400 EUR (approximately $37,045 USD) in Germany. In Mexico, the B10 is offered in a single trim level called Ultra Hibrido Design, available in seven exterior colors and two interior shades—dark and light.

The Mexican specification of the Leapmotor B10 is a range-extended crossover. It features a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine that serves as a generator, delivering no torque to the wheels. Instead, the internal combustion engine sends energy to an electric motor and a battery. The B10 uses a single electric motor producing 160 kW (215 hp). An 18.8 kWh LFP battery provides 98 km of NEDC electric range, and the pack can be charged from 30% to 80% in 19 minutes using a 46 kW DC charger.



The Leapmotor B10 is equipped with a 50-liter fuel tank, enabling a combined range of 990 km under NEDC conditions. Its energy consumption is rated at 16.6 kWh per 100 km. The dimensions of the B10 are 4,530 mm in length, 1,885 mm in width, and 1,655 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,735 mm. Ground clearance stands at 170 mm, and curb weight is 1,785 kg. This urban-focused crossover offers a standard trunk volume of 334 liters.
The dashboard features a 14.6-inch screen compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Seven airbags come as standard. Additionally, the B10 offers a comprehensive suite of driver assistance systems, including adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and autonomous emergency braking.
