Zeekr has introduced the five-seat variant of its flagship 9X full-size plug-in hybrid SUV in the Chinese market, with prices beginning at 471,900 yuan (approximately 69,745 USD). This premium model, measuring 5.2 meters in length, is equipped with a 70 kWh battery and can deliver up to 1,030 kW (1,381 hp) of power. Notably, the six-seat version of the Zeekr 9X had already entered global markets prior to this launch.
The five-seat 9X is positioned as a luxury variant and is available in three trim levels: Ultra, Hyper, and Obsidian Black. The Ultra trim offers two battery choices (55 kWh and 70 kWh), while the six-seat version also includes a Max configuration. Below is a complete list of all Zeekr 9X trims:

As shown, the five-seat variants are priced 14,000 yuan (2,070 USD) lower than their six-seat counterparts. Exterior styling remains consistent between the two configurations, with the five-seat model sharing the same dimensions: 5,239 mm in length, 2,029 mm in width, and 1,819 mm in height, along with a wheelbase of 3,169 mm. A new brownish exterior color helps distinguish the five-seat version.



Inside, the five-seat Zeekr 9X features two rows of seats upholstered in Nappa full-grain leather. Rear passengers benefit from 1.4 meters of legroom, and the side rear seats come with power leg rests, zero-gravity mode, heating, massage, and ventilation functions. Additional amenities include a ceiling-mounted screen, a 32-speaker Naim-branded audio system, a built-in fridge, a 6.5-liter storage compartment, and two wireless phone charging pads.
The dashboard is equipped with two 16-inch screens as standard, though one display can be removed to save 5,000 yuan (740 USD). The center console houses two wireless chargers, a block of physical buttons, and a hidden compartment, while the gear shifter is positioned behind the steering wheel. The Zeekr 9X also comes with the G-ASD G-Pilot H7 & H9 assisted driving systems.



The Zeekr 9X offers 1,082 liters of trunk space in standard configuration, expanding to 2,472 liters when the rear seats are folded down. A dual-chamber air suspension allows the rear end to be lowered for easier loading, and the rear seats can be adjusted via buttons located in the trunk.
Standard powertrain for this SUV is a plug-in hybrid system combining a 2-liter engine with two electric motors, delivering a total output of 660 kW (885 hp). Battery options include a 55 kWh pack providing 300 km of electric range (CLTC) and a 70 kWh pack offering 380 km. A tri-motor variant produces a combined peak power of 1,030 kW (1,381 hp) and can travel up to 355 km on a single charge.


According to data from China EV DataTracker, Zeekr has delivered 45,731 units of the 9X crossover. Cumulative deliveries for this model have exceeded 65,000 units, making it the top seller in the high-end SUV segment for seven consecutive months.
